Presenting itself on the world market and demonstrating a powerful capacity.
As early as 1962, TECO motor has started exporting to Vietnam, Thailand, and the first setup overseas subsidiary in Singapore in 1972 marked TECO's first step of internationalization. In accordance with economic situation in Taiwan and throughout the world, TECO commenced overseas investment on a large scale starting in the mid 1980s. In 1986, TECO cooperated with Westinghouse Motor to build medium and small size motors of Westinghouse. In 1989, Westinghouse transferred the production techniques and equipment to TECO and formed a joint venture, i.e. TECO-Westinghouse Motor Co., to cover the marketing and sales of products. In 1995, TECO acquired Westinghouse Motor Co. of USA and established TECO-Westinghouse Motor Co. to sell motors labeled with the TECO and TECO-Westinghouse brands.

The internationalization of TECO is on a pragmatic basis to locally manufacture and modify the products so as to meet the customers' requirements and needs on the local market, and to ensure that the products manufactured meet the requirements of different customers. Currently, the internationalization of TECO includes Singapore, the USA, Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the UK, Indonesia, Thailand, Canada, and Mainland China, with production and sales points. They are eager to expand and improve the competitiveness of TECO Motor on the world market.
