TECO's first electric motor helped launch and set the pace for Taiwan's industrial success. Our constant technological advancements, high standards of quality control, and superior services continue to earn us the confidence of our customers.
In 1956, Mr. Lin Ho-Yin, Kay Lin Bo-Shi, Chien Sui-Mu,
Sun Bing-Huei, and Lin Chang-Cheng founded TECO Electrical
and Machinery Co, Ltd. on the same principles that define
TECO today.
TECO's past 45 years not only mirrors Taiwan's economic
growth, but also exemplifies the history of Taiwan's industrial
scene. Sparked by TECO's first motor, Taiwan's industry
has grown with every new motor that TECO has produced.
In the early 1950s, with limited capital and resources,
TECO relied on the strength of its employees. This still
holds true today. The former chairman of TECO, Mr. Lin
Chang-Cheng, reports that "the strength of our
employees will help us to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
This strength translates into the highest quality products
and services, that our customers know us for."
